At the core of the BigID Data Intelligence Platform is its ability to discover and classify structured, unstructured and semi-structured data types, cloud and on-prem, data at rest as well as data in motion across the enterprise. BigID leverages a variety of techniques to map out data in silos, files, and databases and can detect and classify sensitive data across any type of enterprise data source.

BigID can be installed on premises or delivered as a cloud service. When installed on premises, all components of the product are running inside the user entity’s premises and no data or communication leaves the network.
